Ivana Ivanova – My experience with the free SOS phone line for children and youthI am grateful for the opportunity to be a volunteer here in the First Children’s Embassy in the World Megjashi which was my own choice, and it was for the free SOS phone line for children and youth. From the very beginning they trusted me and I was assigned to responsible tasks, which is a very stimulating moment for a young, inexperienced pedagogue as myself, a recent graduate, who is ambitious and enthusiastic about learning and acquiring working skills and experience, yet is still inexperienced in her work.
I like the fact that there is a great flexibility among the employees in the Children’s Embassy Megjashi, although everyone has their share of the work, there is cohesiveness in the overall work activity. It helped me a lot as a volunteer in fitting into this organisation.

The people I work with on the SOS phone line are very positive, approachable and willing to clear anything, really kind listeners and advisers for those who call the line. You can sense that they do their job with great love. I can learn a lot from them.

I am grateful I fit in this surrounding in such a short time and for being given the chance to answer the calls on the SOS line in the future, as a volunteer in the First Children’s Embassy in the World Megjashi. I am just grateful I have been assigned to such a responsible job.
