New Year’s cardsFor three years the First Children’s Embassy in the World – Megjashi works out New Year cards. This year the New Year cards were in seven motives, the first four motives were double and cost 25,00 denars with an envelope and the other three motives were single and cost 10,00 denars without envelope. The motives are painted by children i.e. they are parts of children’s drawings. The children who prepared the cards are members of the art workshops which are held in The First Children’s Embassyin the World Megjasi. They are technically designed by adults. From the cards there was income of 266.280,00 denars, and the means which were collected from the sale are intended for the Daily Centre for street children, which functions within the Embassy, for the Children workshops and the free SOS phone for children and youth 0800 1 2222.
