Gathering assets from domestic sources for support on the Daily Centre for Children on the StreetsThe Children’s Embassy has placed cash boxes for donation from the citizens through whole Macedonia. The newest is that there are 20 new cash boxes, which are provided through the project “Gathering assets for work on the Daily Centre for Children od the Streets” in collaboration with CIRa, financed by USAID. The new cash boxes are set in: Hotel Aleksandar Palace, Neptun –Stadium, Stopanska Banka – GTC, Stopanska Banka – Jane Sandanski, Airport Alexandar Macedonian, Tediko – Aerodrom, Tinex – Gjorce Petrov 2, TC Ramstore, Neptun –Ramstore, Tinex – Chrom, Tinex – Prvomajska, Chicco – Centar, Tinex – State Hosital, Tediko – Vlae, Okaidi – Square, Hotel Arka.
 
During November and December 2007 to January 2008 the citizens donated 103.307,00 denars in the cash boxes.  SP Market – 9.664,00, MaxiD – 4.588,00,  Neptun- 11.555,00 , Okaidi – 1.500,00 , TC  Ramstore – 11.583,00 , Stopanska Banka – 7.870,00 , Tehnomarket – 2.208,00 , Airport Alexandar Macedonian – 2.956,00 , Hotel Stone Bridge – 3.651,00 , Tinex – 23.060,00 , Unique – 2.131,00 и from the others places there are tottally 22.541,00 denars . The opening and the counting of the cash boxes were in attendance of three-numbered commission, whose structure consists of: Jana Popovska, Marina Dimitrovska, Meri Naumova Davchevska, Hristina Georgievska, Gurgica Petrushevska and Borce Stojanovski.

Also the embassy in collaboration with the printing house Jugoreklam made leaflets that were projected with the project “Gathering assets from domestic sources for support on the Daily Centre for Children on the Streets”. The content of the leaflets consists of that we want to inform the citizens for the number of children who are on the streets, how many children do not go on school, and also to inform that the First Children’s Embassy in the World Megjashi opened Daily Centre for Children on the Streets which visits 20 children. Those children are from the settlement Aerodrom and Novo Lisiche. They come three days weekly (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), get clean clothes, take a bath, have a warm launch and educate themselves. The purpose of making leaflets was to inform the citizens that for every their donation the Children’s Embassy appropriated for work on the Daily Centre for Children on the Streets.
