Activities of the Megjashi Embassy over the New Year’s and Christmas holidays The First Children's Embassy in the world Megjashi at their premises organized a party with gifts for children in the presence of Santa Claus. Christmas gifts and toys were given to children who are not going to school and are attending the day care centre at the Embassy and also the children who were living until year 2006 in the Embassy’s “shelter for children in a crisis situation”. The Embassy also provided some toys for the children of the humanitarian organization "Peace" from Skopje.

The New Year’s gifts were donated by Genel from Skopje and Babylon software solutions. The toys were donated by "Mara" Foundation from the Netherlands.

The "Mara" foundation has donated about 600 soft toys in different sizes for the children at the day care centre. The children’s joy was great because this year Santa Claus was presenting them with toys as well as the usual gift bags full of chocolates and candies. Some of these toys were used to equip the Day Centre premises where the children who are not attending school spend part of the day filled with educational and recreational activities.
