Eleven years old boy with tumor on the urinary bladder has been beaten always when he will ask for his mother.

Eleven years old boy, who had tumour on the urinary bladder and his nine years old sister has been beaten and maltreated in the Home for children “October 11”, from the teachers. Always when they will ask to call their mother they got slap, affirm from The first children’s embassy in the world “Megjasi”. But from the Ministry for Social work and politic deny officially that the kids has been beaten, they say that they will take care of the case and if they see some irregularity will take action.
According to the information from “Megjasi”, the trauma of this family begin on December 4, 2008 when the Social service in Berovo took the kids from school. According to the information from the parents they haven’t been informed about that, just someone on the phone told them that their kids will be taken.
The Social service in Berovo have promised them that their kids will be taken temporally till December, 19 in The home for children in Skopje and the boy will be taken on clinical examination. Beside that they have known that the boy is in critical health position they didn’t take the boy to the hospital – inform from “Megjasi”.
The boy told to some of the volunteer from “Megjasi” that in this Home in Skopje he didn’t take therapy for twenty days, also no one took care and share attention for them. And every time when they will ask to call their mother they got slap from the teachers. Because of that the boy escaped from there in Monday and with help of some older person came back home. The boy told that will kill himself by jumping in front of some car if his sister stay in the Home.
The mother told us that her son now urinate blood and is afraid to go outside and in school, because he has the fear that someone will take him again,- say from “Megjasi”. They inform the public about this case with agreement from the parents. They also informed the national lawyer about this.
The Ministry for social work and politic have completely different story. They inform that the father is alcoholic and that the mother asked for help in the Centre for social work in Berovo about the violence of her husband three years ago. But after a while she shrink the accusation, but the violence didn’t stop, so that why the Social service in October 2008 decided to take care of the children and the father to cure from alcohol.
A few days later the mother with the minor kids has been placed in Shelter – Centre in Kochani, from where by herself with the two kids she come back home.
“The violence in the family continued and on December 4, the mother has been accepted in the hospital in Pehchevo, telling that she hurt herself with knife while she was fixing the window”, affirm the authority.
The next morning the kids have been taken and settled in the Home for Children.
“The professional services noticed that the kid is suffering for home, but also is accepting the explanation that he will return home when the conditions there will be better”, is told in the notification from the Ministry for social work and politic.
But the boy was always asking when he can go home and in Monday he escaped saying that he has pain in his stomach. After the school he didn’t returned in the Home but he went back in his town, Pehchevo. According to the authority the next day his mother came in the Home trying to take the girl.
The authority says that the brother and the sister have never been hurt, but still they will take an investigation to find out the truth. They say that they will take care of the kids while the conditions in the family became better.
