REACTION ON THE PROSECUTION ON THE MURDER OF TWO CHILDREN AND ONE ADULT PERSON IN SHOPPING CENTRE CARICANKAReaction by the First Children’s Embassy in the World “Megjashi” and by the Association for Democratic Initiatives- ADI about the trail of the murders of the two children, brothers Endjin (13 years old) and Enis Ismaili (17 years old) and one adult, their friend Rametula Ibishi (20 years old) in front of the Internet Cafe “21” in the mall “Chairchanka” in Skopje.
The First Children’s Embassy in the World “Megjashi” and the Association for Democratic Initiatives- ADI are referring to the Convection of Children’s Rights, which was also ratified by the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia in 1993 and which is implemented trough the positive law regulations, including the Criminal Law, where is stressed out that the life of each young person, especially of each child is of the best interest for the society.
The First Children’s Embassy in the World “Megjashi” and the Association for Democratic Initiatives- ADI are asking for child protection, regardless the gender, religious and nationality. According to the Convection of Children’s Rights, each country that has ratified it is obliged to work for the best interest of the children. The basic right of every child is the right of living and right of peaceful and happy childhood.
In the Primary Court Skopje1, in Skopje will be held main trail against the offenders for this triple murder of the children and youth - they were victims of the criminal and violent act, murder in the shut-gun between two criminal groups. This children and youth unfortunately will not have opportunity to finish their education and to be honest citizens of this country.
As citizens associations for protection of human rights and as Embassy of the children which is protecting their rights, we are addressing to the Court for proper sanction, having in consideration that three young lives were taken away. We are expecting the Court autonomously, objectively and professionally, after the main trail, to reach proper verdict for the three offenders.
The First Children’s Embassy in the World “Megjashi” and the Association for Democratic Initiatives- ADI, as so far, are striving for full realization of the children’s rights, especially of the basic right of every child - the right of living. We are appealing and asking justice to be done.
This reaction is signed by MSc. Dragi Zmijanac, Founder and Executive Director of The First Children’s Embassy in the World “Megjashi” and by Shpend Imeri, President of the Association for Democratic Initiatives- ADI.
