FUNDRAISING FROM LOCAL RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE DAILY CENTRE FOR CHILDREN ON STREETSIn the last few years, the First Children’s Embassy in the World-Megjashi has been trying to raise funds from local resources to implement its own activities, one of the important activities that we have been implementing since July this year, and we have to raise funds from local resources for the functioning of The Daily Centre for Children on the Streets.

Such is the task of the Project of The First Children’s Embassy in the World-Megjashi - “Fundraising from local resources to support The Daily Centre for Children on Streets”, chosen to be a part of The Program for Philanthropy Grants within The Civil Society Strengthening Program (CSSP). Activities within this program are coordinated by CIRa in consultation with ISC and other CSSP implementing partners, with technical assistance by Ekopolis Foundation from the Slovak Republic.

The Goal of the CSSP is to strengthen the local philanthropy which provides a wide-range of domestic support for the society, whether human, material, or financial. The project idea of The First Children’s Embassy in the World - Megjashi is evaluated as having a good potential for increasing the diversity of the resources and stimulating the various forms of domestic philanthropy.

On the 2nd and 4th of September at the Hotel Doncho, The Center for Institutional Development organized a workshop for all the NGOs that were supported by The Program for Philanthropy Grants. Nevenka Stefanovska and Nina Caminski represented our organization at this workshop
