The First Children’s Embassy in the World Megjashi – Host to Mrs. Emine Erdogan, wife of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey and Mrs. Borkica Gruevska, wife of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia
 


On September 29, 2011 the First Children’s Embassy in the World Megjashi was visited by Mrs. Emine Erdogan, wife of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Mrs. Borkica Gruevska, wife of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia Mr. Nikola Gruevski. They were accompanied by the wife of the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Macedonia His Excellency Mr. Arslan Hakan and the wives of several Turkish ministers. 
 

They attended the creative workshops for children during which the children made origami and art work and presented them with some of their handcrafts. They saw the working premises of the Children’s Embassy and were introduced to the team that works in the organization as well as the activities it carries out for protection of children’s rights. 

 

On this occasion, Mrs. Borkica Gruevska donated a TV and DVD set which the First Children’s Embassy in the World Megjashi will use for its activities in the Day Centre for children who do not attend school.

 

Finally, as a sigh of appreciation, the Executive Director and founder of the First Children’s Embassy in the World Megjashi, Dragi Zmijanac MA presented Mrs. Erdogan and Mrs. Gruevska with “Bushavko” (Shaggy) statues, the face of the Children’s Embassy Megjashi.
